Well, Orre is a rather interesting region... and rather than break this up into several sections, the oddities that surround both it and Garasu will be summed up here:Transportation and Vehicles
The harsh desert terrain makes even transportation through fly quite tricky. The main mode of transportation in Orre is by hover-bike or by armored van. You may see some regular bicycles around the city, but those aren't much use once you get outside Garasu's border.
Poke-Balls and Catching Pokemon
Though not illegal to own, the Poke-Ball market in Orre is heavily restricted, and wild Pokemon mostly consist of ground, steel, and pest-type Pokemon like Rattata. New partnerships are generally made by trade or by working with 'free' Pokemon in the city to work out temporary or long-term contracts: thus, the relationship between some Pokemon and Trainer may be more akin to an employee and employer, than a full bond.
Gyms and the League
There are no official gyms or Elite 4 rankings to speak of in Orre, though the robust battle system attracts strong trainers worldwide. Occasionally, the Pokemon World Tournament is held in the country, as its quite popular due to its relative neutrality from the league. Orre stands more as a 'Victory Road' than most of the other regions.
Legendary Worship
Celebi, Legendary Pokemon of Time, and Ho-Oh, Legendary Pokemon of the Sun, are the known and favored myths of the region, with shrines decorating both of them in most cities. There are rumors of Darkrai, Legendary Pokemon of the Void, but these are spoken in hushed tales and dark whispers...
